New to Wayne Wire - Vision Inspection System

Project kickoff began in March 2024, with full implementation completed in February 2025. This initiative integrates advanced AI and machine learning technologies, developed in close
collaboration with customers to meet evolving quality assurance requirements.

The fully automated vision system supports an annual production volume of approximately 13 million automotive filters and operates at a throughput of 90 parts per minute. It delivers comprehensive inspection capabilities, including full dimensional scanning, detection of foreign object debris (FOD), identification of damage to screens and binding components, and inspection for rust.

This program represents a significant success, demonstrating scalable capacity and the effective application of state-of-the-art technology to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
