Purchasing and Supplier Requirements

All requirements for material, outside processes, specifications, and other identified requirements are reviewed before placing a purchase order for goods or services.

  • Requirements Flow-Down
Necessary requirements are flowed down to suppliers; purchase orders updated before issuance when changes are required
  • Supplier QMS Compliance
All suppliers must meet quality management system standards: ISO 9001, AS9100, NADCAP, or customer-specific requirements

Critical Spec Inspection
Self-Release
Customer Authorized
  • Customer Self-Release Authorizations
Wayne Wire holds many customer self-release authorizations, reducing the need for incoming inspections and lowering costs for our customers
  • Final Inspection
Final inspection is employed to ensure product that requires closer review receives it, including 100% inspection of all critical specifications
  • C=0 Acceptance Criteria
We utilize C=0 sampling, meaning zero defects are accepted — any nonconforming unit triggers rejection of the lot for further review
