Production Team Member
Full-time manufacturing role in Kalkaska, MI with competitive pay, benefits, sign-on bonus, PTO, and shift differential. Responsibilities:
Depending on your experience and role, you may be responsible for:
Operating power presses and manual kick presses to fabricate parts
Using resistance welders, soldering, and torch/induction brazing to assemble components
Inspecting parts under a microscope for quality assurance
Operating wire mesh shear tables and other shop equipment to cut and form wire mesh
Reading and interpreting blueprints and production documentation
Using a computer to scan jobs in and out, track workflow, and access digital job details
Performing tool and die maintenance using lathes, CNC machines, grinders, and drill presses
Measure production parts using various gages including micrometers, calipers, indicators, go/no-go gages, to ensure parts are in compliance with standards.
Following all company safety procedures and PPE requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing or factory environment (preferred)
Attention to detail
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Highschool diploma/GED and/or ability to pass a basic math test
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand or sit for extended periods
Reliable transportation and the ability to commute to our Kalkaska, MI facility
Additional Responsibilities May Include:
Package finished products for shipment or storage
Assist with materials handling and inventory management
Skills:
Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Good communication skills to collaborate with team members
Attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
Special Requirements:
Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less). Ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)
Peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes remained focused on a given point)

Must pass a background check and drug screen.
