Steve Waugh

Steve Waugh is the Chief Operating Officer of Wayne Wire Cloth Products, Inc. He joined Wayne Wire in 2004 as an Operations Leader and was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in 2008.

Prior to Wayne Wire, Steve spent 15 years with The Dow Chemical Company, where he supported engineering, project management, production, and environmental health and safety functions. During his tenure at Dow, he completed his Six Sigma Black Belt certification, reinforcing a disciplined, structured approach to operations and problem-solving.

Steve earned a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the University of Michigan–Ann Arbor in 1990 and has been a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Michigan for over 20 years.

At Wayne Wire, Steve operates in a hands-on leadership role where he wears many hats, with a primary focus on strategic planning, customer satisfaction, and supporting company growth. He is ultimately responsible for ensuring Wayne Wire continues to meet the needs of its employees, customers, and the communities it serves.
