Allison Hartzell
Allison Hartzell is the Customer Care/Executive Assistant at Wayne Wire Cloth Products, Inc. She joined the company in September 2001 as a Quality Specialist and was promoted in 2002 to Production Manager for the Airbag Division in Kalkaska, Michigan. After that operation transitioned to Juarez, Mexico, she moved into Customer Service and Scheduling and was most recently promoted to her current role in Customer Care and Executive Assistant.
Prior to joining Wayne Wire, Allison spent 13 years with a Tier 1 supplier to the Big Three automakers. She began as a production assembler, progressed into inventory control, and later advanced to a Quality Technician role. During that time, she supported the company’s QS-9000 certification efforts and gained hands-on experience with APQP and PPAP, building a practical foundation in cross-functional collaboration and process improvement across manufacturing and quality functions.
Allison brings more than 35 years of experience in manufacturing, spanning entry-level production roles through leadership positions. Her background across production, quality, inventory control, and customer-facing functions informs a systems-level understanding of the manufacturing lifecycle, from RFQ through delivery, and shapes a leadership approach grounded in process discipline and respect for frontline operations.
In her current role, Allison’s primary focus is serving as the voice of the customer, with an emphasis on customer satisfaction. Her day-to-day work varies based on customer and business needs, and decisions related to customer care and executive coordination ultimately roll up to her. Colleagues describe her as knowledgeable and a team player, and she is known for offering hands-on support when needed.
Allison values Wayne Wire’s focus on customer satisfaction and its commitment to being a world-class leader in its markets. As a family-owned company, Wayne Wire’s capabilities and the diversity of customers it serves are differentiators she believes strengthen the organization. She is excited about the company’s growth and the opportunities that growth creates for both customers and employees.
