aspects of the Quality Management Systems and Manufacturing
Processes are in compliance. Audit results are analyzed and
reviewed by Management, staff and improvements teams to identify
and improve our Quality Management Systems and Manufacturing
Processes to ensure Customer, Regulatory and Specification
requirements are being met. Wayne Wire is committed in remaining
current and up to date on QMS requirements, Nadcap process
certifications, Customer requirements and upcoming changes
through thorough review of requirements.

Why Certifications Matter
Quality Standards are designed and implemented to meet customer
needs and to ensure that fundamentals regarding the quality
management system are in place. Products and services for
industries that deal with critical components such as air bag or
aerospace are particularly important since the failure of one of
more of these components could result in devastating
consequences. Quality standards are not only implemented for
manufacturing but also take into consideration the environmental
impact. The conformation of standards can give customers
assurance that the products they receive are reliable, follow
quality guidelines and safe.
Process certification standards control specific special process
manufacturing methods to ensure operational requirements use a
standardized approach to quality assurance. Wayne Wire Cloth
Products, Inc. located in Kalkaska Michigan, maintains Nadcap
Accreditation of Vacuum Furnace Brazing, Torch and Induction
Brazing in conjunction with customer requirements to assure
stringent industry consensus standards required and set by
Nadcap Primes are met.
The Certification Process
ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System requirements and AS9100D
Quality Management System requirements are independently audited
for conformance by an outside registrar body. Wayne Wire Cloth
Products, Inc. utilizes British Standards Institution (BSI) as
it’s’ registrar.
Additionally, Wayne Wire Cloth Products, Inc. located in
Kalkaska Michigan, maintains Nadcap (National Aerospace and
Defense Contractors Accreditation Program) certification and
accreditation. The Performance Review Institute (PRI)
administers the Nadcap program and audits are scheduled. Wayne
Wire Cloth Product, Inc. maintains on staff Engineers, Quality
and auditing personnel to ensure requirements are maintained,
understood and updated as requirements change ensuring continual
compliance.
Internal Certification Auditors
Wayne Wire uses trained auditors for performing internal audits
of all aspects of its Divisions Quality Management Systems (QMS)
as well as production processes. Lead Auditor (AS9100/ISO 9001)
is on staff to
oversee or direct training of internal auditors.
